BENIGN MIXED TUMOR

A benign tumor of the salivary glands of the neck.  A painless, slow growing tumor that can be removed surgically.

BRANCHIAL CLEFT CYST

A small fluid collection on the side of the neck related to a birth defect.  It is usually benign but can become infected.  There are multiple varieties but type 2 is the most common.

CASTLEMAN DISEASE

A benign disorder of enlarged lymph nodes in the neck.

CERVICAL

The vertebrae in the neck.  Is composed of 7 cervical vertebrae.

CHOLESTEATOMA

An abnormal collection of skin and debris usually located near the ear drum.  It can cause hearing problems.

CONCHA BULLOSA

An air pocket that develops in the nasal turbinates.  It is usually of no consequence.

CRICOID

A small bone located behind the trachea or windpipe.

CRICOPHARYGEUS MUSCLE

A muscle sphincter located high in the esophagus that squeezes and opens to allow food and drink to pass into the esophagus or swallowing tube.

DENTIGEROUS CYST OF THE MANDIBLE OR MAXILLA

A cyst or fluid collection arising from a tooth that has not fully formed.
