TECHNITIUM
Most common type of radioactive compound used in many Nuclear Medicine exams.
TECTORAL
Referring to a process related to the tectum. The tectum is a part of the normal brain anatomy.
TECTUM
Normal anatomy of the brain. The radiologist may refer to this when describing an abnormality.
TENDINITIS
Active inflammation of the tendon.
TENDINOPATHY
Diseased tendon. Generic and all-inclusive term.
TENDINOSIS
Chronic and repeated injury to the tendon. Inflammation usually not a main component of tendinosis.
TENDON
Flexible tissue that allows attachment of muscle to bone.
TENTORIUM
Normal anatomy. A landmark that separates the top from the bottom of the brain.
TENTORIUM CEREBELLI
Normal anatomy. A landmark that separates the top from the bottom of the brain.
TERATOMA
A tumor containing multiple types of tissue. For example, a teratoma can contain bone, fat, teeth and hair. A teratoma often contains fat.
