A process referring to abnormal swelling of the brain. It can be caused by infection, inflammation, multiple sclerosis, or tumor.
VASOGENIC EDEMA
Refers to abnormal swelling in the brain. It can be caused by infection, inflammation, multiple sclerosis, or tumor.
VEIN
A blood vessel that carries blood back to the heart.
VEIN OF GALEN
A normal vein or blood vessel in the brain.
VENOUS
Refers to the veins or tubes carrying blood to the heart.
VENOUS ANOMALY
An abnormality of the veins. A developmental venous anomaly in the brain is not cancerous and can often be seen in normal brains.
VENTRICLE
Normal anatomy. A hollow part of an organ. In the brain it is a fluid-filled cavity.
VENTRICULITIS
An infection of the ventricle system. In the brain, the ventricle is the fluid-filled cavity.
